Four Ways To See the World from Very Different Perspectives
Most humans spend their days seeing the world around them from the same perspective: on the ground. What they know and what they see while standing on the ground is almost a sort of two-dimensional world. There is so much to see that you can't see while standing on your own two feet. To expand your mind and your horizons, try chartering one of the following ways to see the world from a different perspective.
Helicopter Charter
Taking just ten minutes' ride in a helicopter is a mind- and eye-opening experience. A helicopter can fly lower than most airplanes, and it can go as fast or as slow as you want. If you want to hover over an interesting location, a helicopter can do that. This vehicle has many fewer restrictions, making it relatively easy to take in a different view of the world around you.
Charter a Boat
If there is a river or a bay near you, try taking a boat around. The shore looks different when you are on a boat. It is not any sort of perspective that you can see on land, since you can see everything around you on the shores that you would not ordinarily see if you were still standing on the shore.
Charter a Hot Air Balloon
Floating along in a hot air balloon is also quite neat. Things can be as close to or as far away as you want, all without the steady hum of an engine. You can hear and see birds and animals that you would not hear and see in a helicopter. You can even float just above a waterway, dipping your fingers in the water, and then move on to new sights.
Ride a Horse
If you have ever been on the back of a horse, you know exactly what this is like. You are a whole person above the heads of the crowds. Maybe this is why police on horseback work this way; they can see people and things a lot sooner when they are riding up high. While a horse does not put you into the kinds of aerial views offered by hot air balloons and helicopters, nor does it offer the "outside looking in" sort of view offered by boating, the perspective given is still unique. Short of climbing a ladder, you are not likely to see all that you get to see atop a horse.
